Eats in Cebu: Churrasco at Ibiza

A favorite spot for locals and tourists to enjoy happy hour by the sea, Ibiza Beach Club at Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island becomes a spot for some succulent grilled meats during the churrasco dinner buffet.

Churrasco is a Brazilian style of serving grilled meat, wherein the servers take skewers of cooking meat from the grill and slice pieces directly onto the diners’ plates. At Ibiza, they offer a wide selection of prime meat and seafood—pork belly, short and baby back ribs, chicken thighs, parrotfish, calamari, jumbo prawns, rock lobster, filet mignon, rib eye, lamb chops and ostrich—all of which are seasoned and cooked to perfection on the special grill imported from Brazil. On the table is a selection of dips that include yogurt, red pepper sauce, aioli, pesto and hummus to go with the meats.
