Style Stunners: 5 TV Show Characters For Your Fashion Inspo
These style stunners keep us hungry for more style inspo, whether for our daily outfits or party outs. Keep binge watching, and you might just find that perfect outfit for you!
If school’s starting (or just about to start) for you and you’d want to be the one with the cutest outfit or if you’d love to reassure your fashionista image at work, we’ve rounded up some style inspo for the modern Cebuana made to stun your audience as you strut the runway—or school hallway…or when you’re getting off the elevator at work—whatever’s applicable.
We know it’s a hassle to pick great outfits for all of the days you’re allowed to wear anything other than your school or work uniform. Whether you’re feeling some vintage chic, or would wanna rock that leather jacket, these gals who’re not only our favorite fictional characters, but also our favorite style stunners, would help you out!
Rachel Greene from Friends
Of course she’s part of our list! Not only did she make us cry and laugh all at the same time (were they really “On a break”?), she also made some good impressions with her style. Well, why wouldn’t she if she works for Ralph Lauren, right?
Rachel really had it going with those pencil skirts and topping her blouses off with the cutest scarfs. She lived the New York dream with the bestest friends one could ever get, slayed being a mom, and realized that the love of her life was just right there in front of her. Rachel Greene, not only do we want your style, we want your life!
Fallon Carrington from Dynasty
Nothing embodies girl boss more than our recent COO Fallon Carrington, who’s lived her life like a princess, but certainly not a damsel in distress. This tough cookie not only knows how to fight anyone who gets in her way of having a successful company of her own, but also knows how to choose her style when she shows up in every business meeting (or a Carrington family affair).
She knows how to work those pantsuits and still look chic. Not only does all her outfits match her glorious hair, but we’re loving how she works those details with every top!
Veronica Lodge from Riverdale
We’re loving her vintage chic vibe and how she pulls off every outfit with her classic pearl necklace! Not only are we swooning over her Archiekins, we’re also loving her collared polo and pencil skirt duo as she walks the halls of Riverdale High.
Despite troubles lurking Riverdale with all the killings and crimes, Veronica Lodge has managed to savagely take down her dad and keep up with the hottest styles on TV. This girl can turn into sweetheart to badass with her faint curls matching her every outfit.
Spencer Hastings from Pretty Little Liars
Of course the almost-perfect Spencer Hastings enters the list! She’s every girl’s dream character as she’s not only full of wit, but can also charm the audience with a variety of her outfits! Whether it’s topping off a jeans and sweater combo with an Italian artist’s hat, or choosing a sleek coat and furry scarf (or most probably rocking both), she’s leaving the fashionista in us gasping for air!
Right down the last few episodes of the show, Spencer had a new ‘do and tried bangs, and we all couldn’t get over it as it made her outfits bolder. Of course we still loved her occasional braids of different kinds, but the bangs really did steal the show!
Chanel Oberlin from Scream Queens
Nothing SCREAMS fashion goddess other than the character named after that one fashion brand we all love. Chanel Oberlin, queen bee and resident style stunner, may be a whole lot to handle in the show, but you’d really expect her to show up to your funeral being the best dressed.
Before we’d love to find out who the Red Devil is, we’d really want to know where Chanel sources her outfits that not only makes us scream, but proves she’s the real queen. No wonder the other Kappa Kappa Tau girls are named after her! We really love ourselves a good laugh and thrill all the while staying tuned to what Chanel’s feather or fur combo will be next.
These style stunners keep us hungry for more style inspo, whether for our daily outfits or party outs. Keep binge watching, and you might just find that perfect outfit for you!

The First NUSTAR BALL
The NUSTAR Ballroom, a magnificent venue at the NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu, sets the stage for last night’s first-ever NUSTAR Ball.
Glamorous guests from Manila and Cebu converged at the NUSTAR Ballroom, an exquisite venue within the NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu. The evening unfolded with a seated 5-course dinner. The opulent feast started with Beetroot Salmon Gravlax, adorned with caper berries, caviar, set with delicate edible flowers; and a main course of Compressed Pork Belly with Crackling Skin and Baby Scallops. Another highlight was the auction of coveted items like Dior and YSL handbags, a limited-edition Bulgari watch, and an exclusive 2-night stay in Nustar’s opulent 3-bedroom villa—complete with a private pool and a dedicated butler. The charity evening benefited the Cameleon Association, an NGO based in Iloilo City created in 1997 that developed a global approach to act on the causes and effects of sexual violence against children.
It was a night of elegance, luxury, and unforgettable memories as ladies in long gowns and gentlemen in black ties danced the night away.

The Qipao As Interpreted by Innovative Filipino Designers: PHILIP RODRIGUEZ
The Qipao, an iconic symbol of Chinese fashion, takes center stage as we celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon. This singular closely-fitted garment crafted from the most opulent silks originated in 1920’s Shanghai. ZEE fashion editor Oj Hofer, has sought the creative insights of some of the Philippines’ most innovative designers for their interpretation of the elegant Qipao, also known as Cheongsam.
Cebu’s esteemed designer, Philip Rodriguez, pays homage to imperial attire with this stunning yellow silk brocade qipao. While adhering to the traditional cheongsam silhouette, Rodriguez infuses a touch of sensuality by incorporating see-through silk tulle panels along the waistline. Known for his timeless designs and culturally respectful creations, Rodriguez’s attention to detail is unparalleled. His embellishments are intricate and exquisite, showcasing impeccable taste and luxurious design without veering into ostentation. Take, for instance, his cheongsam for the Year of the Dragon. While it may seem daring compared to traditional sensibilities, Rodriguez maintains elegance by delicately veiling the wearer’s skin with sheer tulle on the cutout side panels. The front slit of the dress is cautiously calculated to strike the perfect balance between modesty and allure “I design for women who possess sophistication beyond their years, “ Philip emphasizes. “My clothes are crafted to evoke a sense of beauty and allure, leaving her feeling exquisite and confident.” As a seasoned designer, Rodriguez consistently achieves harmony in his designs. His qipao for 2024 seamlessly blends elements of royalty and sensuality, luxury and practicality, reflecting his mastery of the craft and his ability to create pieces that are truly elegant and well-balance.
