Why a Gingerbread House is a Great Present for the Holidays

It’s almost Christmas and we all want to say our “thank you’s” and appreciation to everyone who has been with us through our journey this year. Harolds Hotel gave us an idea on how to do just that at their appreciation night—a cute frosted Christmas tree and a gingerbread house full of more detail-attentive frosting and candies.

A gingerbread house is one of the sweetest ways to say thank you, and you can do it by yourself too. All you need are a few ingredients: butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, baking soda, melted white chocolate or Royal Icing for the decor and some Gumdrops, licorice and peppermint too add some charm. You don’t have to make it that big, just enough to show how much you appreciate the people around you.
