Four reasons we’re excited for Deezine!
Limited edition designer collections are the highlight of the ultimate shopping party this season.

The holidays are around the corner, and we all know what that means—’tis the season to shop!
Zee Lifestyle, Cebu’s premier lifestyle bible, continues its 20th anniversary celebrations with the ultimate shopping party this side of the country! Deezine, happening at The Gallery of Ayala Center Cebu from November 10-15, 2016 is a curated event featuring limited edition designer collections.
Here are five reasons you should be excited for the event:
1. Design-oriented home furnishings
Deezine celebrates the power of collaboration with one-of-a-kind home accessories crafted by several pairs of Cebuano designers, all well-respected names in the industry. Where else are you going to get a shagreen tray by Selina Romualdez and Lani Pasquet, or a vase by Doro Barandino and Francis Dravigny? Only at Deezine, for sure.
2. A special Zee Lifestyle fashion collection
Rarely do you get designer clothes off the rack, but Cebu’s top designers have come together to create a capsule collection of tops, which will be showcased in Deezine. Be fashion forward in a dreamy Arcy Gayatin camisole, or a metallic hablon corset by Dexter Alazas—and because this collection has limited pieces only, you’re sure to have something unique.
3. Designed dining

4. Discounts galore
Shopping is more fun when there are discounts! BPI cardholders and Cathay Pacific’s Marco Polo Club members get 10% discount at the event. Zee Lifestyle subscribers also enjoy the same privilege, so no better time than now to subscribe!

Villa Mariquita: An Evening of Elegance, Laughter, and Fine Champagne

by Emmanuel Hamoy
Villa Mariquita opened its doors to a very select few. On cue, a server hands you a glass of Pol Roger as Mrs. Yeung warmly greets you, effortlessly chic in a perfect pair of Chanel jeans and a pullover. Conversations over food, between sips of wine and champagne, range from the mundane to the profound—each exchange punctuated with laughter, and then even more laughter.

For the after-party and entertainment at Azure Beach Club, renowned mixologist Ulysse Jouanneaud took over the bar, crafting cocktails with Bacardi, Don Papa, Cointreau, and Sula Brands. Chef Allan Barrios presented a dessert spread that included key lime pralines, vanilla bourbon truffles, honey coconut cryos, and tiny flower-potted bamboo shoots that turned out to be made of pistachio. These little works of art were planted alongside vibrant green foliage, smooth stones, and a faux fog effect that created a tropical rainforest diorama out of the dessert table.
