This year, Moët & Chandon has renamed the annual “Moët Party Day,” which debuted in 2016. Still, it continues its festive tradition with an even more glittering lineup of extraordinary events in over 80 countries, bringing together over a million people from Hong Kong to Lagos and Geneva to Montreal.
In the Philippines, celebrations will take place at Lusso by Margarita Fores, Felix, Zuni, Marco Polo Hotel, Martin’s Place Social, Revel at the Palace, The Cove, Royal, Penthouse at Rizal Park Hotel, Aqua Beach Club, Mega Dance, High Society, Oqtagon, and Morals and Malice. From day to evening, and well into the night, Moët & Chandon will raise a bubbling toast at each of the worldwide celebrations with its full range of delectable champagnes.
On the same day, Moët & Chandon launches its advertising campaign, which signals a new communication platform for the French champagne house. Its 275-year-old heritage and pioneering vision have, since 1743, redefined the art of celebrating life’s most memorable moments.
“In life, we don’t remember days, we remember moments of heightened emotion, of great success, of overwhelming pleasure, or simply of sheer happiness,” says Nathalie Normand, Global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Moët & Chandon. “Our new ‘Must Be’ ad campaign offers worldwide audiences an abundance of emotions that make up some of life’s enjoyable moments, celebrated with a bottle of Moët & Chandon. We are proud to bring our avant-garde touch to a campaign that reflects the values that have been at the core of Moët & Chandon’s noble heritage since 1743.”
Since its founding, Moët & Chandon has been a champagne of choice to celebrate historical moments or private moments of great personal importance. For each of life’s memorable moments, Moët & Chandon has a style of champagne that marks the moment, and makes it truly unique. The House’s new ad campaign captures a soaring emotional journey, a sequence of memorable moments, all of which deserve to be made memorable, and “must be” celebrated with Moët & Chandon.
The campaign, taglined “Must be Moët & Chandon” debuts with a short film, directed by the award-winning French director Emmanuel Cossu. The film captures the House’s universal vision of life’s grand symphony of memorable moments made unique when celebrated with Moët & Chandon.

Whether it was a good or bad one really depends on individual perceptions, but it’s finally coming to an end in a few weeks’ time. With that, we’re all about spending the remaining days of the year right.
And since those Christmas bonuses are in, why not splurge on the ultimate holiday dinner? Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, who’s spending the holidays in Cebu, will be whipping up a special seven-course Christmas menu at The Pig & Palm from December 22-23.
Dinner starts with a selection of canapés with an optional pairing of Moet & Chandon. The assortment includes scallop, yuzu, cucumber and avocado; seaweed cracker, smoked salmon and dill; chicken and foie gras terrine with red onion jam; and pulled pork empanadas.
The second course is the Heritage tomato salad, goat’s cheese, black olive, and basil ice followed by crispy duck egg, confit leg, and autumn truffle, both best paired with Camas Viognier white wine.
For the fourth course, Chef Jason will be serving roast grouper, spiced aubergine, pistachio dukkah, and charred leeks followed by sirloin and cheek of beef, horseradish mash, roast carrot, and watercress, both ideally paired with El Mago red wine.
To finish, passion fruit and white chocolate lollipops and chocolate delice, mulled wine poached apples with Christmas pudding ice cream will cap off the meal on a sweet note.
The special seven course menu is priced at Php 2,900 per person. At Php 3,900 per person, you get an additional wine pairing on top of the meal and a glass of champagne to welcome you upon your arrival. Now that’s how you do Christmas. (with PR)

Did you know that Zee Lifestyle started as Zee Quarterly in 1996? After four years of printing four issues per publication year, it added two copies in 2000, then another two in 2003. It was only as recent as 2012 when the company brought the magazine to its final ten issues per year.
The exhibit shows all these covers in one giant back-to-back wall for your viewing pleasure.
Postcards From Cebu is a rich source of reference for the beautiful island of Cebu. Ten years after its second edition, the book makes a comeback, showcasing photos through the lens of Steffen Billhardt and words by Janet Alfafara.
