<p>Somewhat a footwear staple in the country, slippers may not be the best things for your feet (so aren&#8217;t heels anyway), but it doesn&#8217;t change the fact they&#8217;re darn comfortable—and not to mention easy to wear given the state of our streets.</p>
<p>The past decade or so has seen the evolvement of these flip-flops from something basic and necessary into a complete fashion statement, this 180-degree pivot mostly brought about by Havaianas. Recently, the Brazilian brand further raised the stakes with a collaboration with British luxury shoe and accessories brand Charlotte Olympia.</p>

As the huge seaside city of Brazil welcomes the 2016 Summer Olympics, <strong>Havaianas</strong> also welcomes the most anticipated event of the year with their new Rio 2016 collection.</p>
