As we look back to the months where we may have drained more energy than usual, it’s safe to say that we have our fair share of breaks and vacations. Here at Zee, we’re looking back to our favorite places we’ve been to this 2017 and probably will come back to next year.

Siargao Bleu

Whatever it is, there’s something about Siargao that makes you fall in love at first sight, and never truly get over it. And what better place to experience its beauty than in a luxurious pool villa at Siargao Bleu?

Surigao Sur

The sea plays a very big role in Surigao Sur’s tourist offerings. In Lanuza, the beach scene is one of action — locals are constantly paddling out to meet the waves, learning to ride them at an early age. The vibe was a lot more laidback than that of Siargao, although a lot of foreigners are now frequenting the spot. In fact, the town is now host to the different international competitions, and the local Surf Camp offers packages that allow you to spend weeks at a time mastering the sport.

Dakak Park and Beach Resort

After a 60-minute flight from Mactan and a 20-minute drive from Dipolog, Dapitan City reveals itself as having the potential for global tourism and one thing that cements it’s position is Dakak Park and Beach Resort.’

Bantayan Island

Again and again, Bantayan Island never fails to satisfy your inner beach bum. The sun, the sceneries and the people; everything just falls right into place.

Apo Island

Apo Island is the place to visit when you want to go swim with the turtles, and is quite popular for diving. The island’s surrounding waters is a marine reserve, so you’re guaranteed the corals are alive—in fact, they’re the most colorful I’ve seen so far in the Philippines. Avid divers can attest to this, too.

I only hope that this 2018 will have the same [or better] getaways. We can’t wait to share it with you.
