<p>Shangri-La today launched its new &#8220;Find Your Shangri-La&#8221; global campaign, created to help guests find their personal moments of joy at the luxury hotel chain renowned for its delivery of Asian hospitality.</p>
<p>The initial part of the campaign is centred around a whimsical brand film that celebrates Shangri-La&#8217;s commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences, showcased through unexpected moments of personalised and authentic service. “At Shangri-La, we understand that each guest has a unique version of what it means to “Find Your Shangri-La”, says Shangri-La Chairman Hui Kuok. “We have a rich legacy of more than 50 years in delighting customers and wanted to take this opportunity to highlight something that has always been part of us — bringing joyful moments to the people we host.</p>
<p>“The <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpyQ3dR9dgY">new brand film</a> captures the unique way in which we delight our guests with special moments and treats through our warm, authentic hospitality. We are excited to debut our campaign with this film, alongside an array of immersive experiences that elevate our brand experience.”</p>
<p>The film was developed in partnership with GRAMMY® award-winning director Dave Meyers. To illustrate how guests can find their own Shangri-La, he brought to life fanciful characters that represent different guest personas and chronicled how they found their happiness in various Shangri-La properties, showcasing the delightful, personalised hospitality experiences offered at each hotel.</p>

<p>“Shangri-La is more than a physical place”, said Meyers. “It is a state of mind – a magical world that you can get lost in. Making this film has been a wonderful and inspiring experience for me to explore what ‘Shangri-La’ means to modern travellers”.</p>
<p><strong>“Find Your Shangri-La” themed experiences at 13 hotels globally</strong></p>
<p>For guests with epicurean tastes, Shangri-La has curated exclusive “Find Your Shangri-La” menus, inspired by Chinese and regional Asian cuisines and interpreted through the hotels’ local culinary cultures. While each menu is unique to the hotel, all menus celebrate unexpected flavours and presentations that offer diners the chance to experience a moment of joy. The menus will be available from today until 13 August 2023.</p>

Symbolising Shangri-La’s Asian roots, the peony is guided by a bellhop through the properties, where it glimpses four fantasy characters representing the brand’s core offerings: culinary excellence (hummingbird), special occasions (wedding dress), wellness (penguins), and family (toy train).</p></div>

<p>Shangri-La has also created a collection of imaginative cocktails and mocktails inspired by the “Find Your Shangri-La&#8221; campaign theme. Available from today through 31 December 2023, the three #FindYourShangriLa cocktails include the Daydreamer, Taste of Eden, and the Sky is the Limit. Guests can enjoy these cocktails while being serenaded by the brand film’s theme song, “Over the Rainbow”. Members of Shangri-La Circle, the brand’s contemporary travel and lifestyle platform, can also enjoy a complimentary #FindYourShangriLa cocktail on Members’ Day, on the sixth of each month.</p>

Shangri-La is a joyful place for all families because everyone is treated as if they were part of the Shangri-La family. This is a family where everyone looks out for each other. This year in Cebu, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort &amp; Spa chose to celebrate the day by expanding its commitment to biodiversity conservation through its launching of the Eco-Trail. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A botanical sanctuary more than just a local attraction, the Eco-Trail features over 65 plants that form a route of lush greenery around the resort. Included in this collection is the recently discovered </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cynometra Cebuensis</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">, a flowering plant classified as critically endangered due to the rapid deterioration of its natural habitat. The plant’s adoption in the Shangri-La Mactan Eco-Trail is a move to save it from extinction, a move for earth.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The trail begins at the Ranger Base and takes approximately an hour. Foreign guests need not worry about language barriers as each plant overview comes in multiple languages. Specialized resort rangers conduct the tours. These rangers are local experts who all share one thing: a passion for Cebu’s flora and fauna, and a desire to share it with resort guests. Rangers received training from the University of San Carlos &#8211; Biology Department and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.</span></p>

<p>Out of all the places in Cebu, I would probably say that Tops is my all-time favorite spot. This place is not only romantic, but it is extremely overwhelming and relaxing as well. If you simply want to wander off and be somewhere out of the city, this would be the perfect spot. Not only do you get the cool refreshing wind sensation tingling down your spine, but you also get a breathtaking view of the city. The most ideal time to go here would be at night, where the area transforms into a real life planetarium. There were times in the past that I was even able to witness a meteor shower. Tops truly is an amazing spot worth visiting, taking into consideration that is just 30 minutes away from the city. Tops in one word is breathtaking.</p>

<p>Another favorite spot to hang out in a &#8220;chill&#8221; atmosphere would be the cowrie cove beach front. This is an ideal place to watch the sunset with your favorite people in the world. I&#8217;ve done this a lot&nbsp;and the feeling is fulfilling every time. Moreover, you get to enjoy their delicious cocktails and quick bites and you can have fun frolicking in the sand &#8217;til night time.</p>

<p>For nature lovers like me, Oslob is one of the spots I truly enjoy. In Oslob, I was able to experience swimming with the world&#8217;s largest fish. It is quite a remarkable experience for people who enjoy long drives and a mix of adventure. The icing on the cake would probably be the unforgettable whale shark or &#8220;butanding&#8221; in the local dialect.</p>

<p>Coined CARNAVAL: One Night in Rio, the festive extravaganza treats partygoers to music by celebrity DJ’s Callum David and Jade Hartman, sensational performances by Brazilian showgirls and pole dancers, lively tempos by drumbeaters and a Capoeira exhibition. Capoeira is the Afro-Brazilian martial art which combines fight, dance, rhythm and movement.</p>
<p>Driven to glaze a weekend in paradise with energy and Brazilian vitality, the event will also stage a fashion show of glamorous intensities featuring exclusive designs by Cebu’s fashion artisans. The dynamic strut down the catwalk will show off exotic Brazilian couture by Jun Escario, Arcy Gayatin, Edwin Ao, Mary Ty, Barbie Alvez, Rei Escario, Bree Esplanada, Mique Yapching, Protacio Empaces and Philip Rodriguez.</p>
<p>CARNAVAL: One Night in Rio happens on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at The Marquee. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and partygoers are encouraged to come dressed in their best Rio-inspired ensembles. Tickets are available at P3,000 net per person and include Brazilian street food and free flowing Brazilian drinks.</p>
